Everything we expected Microsoft will show itself to his Surface event Wednesday seems even more likely to appear. A handful of leaks today indicate that the Windows-based Surface Pro X and Surface Pro 8 are on the horizon, as is Microsoft’s flagship for Android, the Surface Duo 2.

Microsoft’s ultra-portable tablet, the Surface Pro X, has been recently authorized by the FAC and past Energy star attestations. According to its specifications sheet, the Windows tablet has a Qualcomm Snapdragon SQ2 processor, the same custom chip featured in the latest Surface Pro X, and 16 GB of RAM. Unfortunately, there are no details on the design of the Surface Pro X. or if the screen will have a refresh rate of 120Hz, as has been said.

Surface Pro 8, the next generation of Microsoft’s original Surface line, would have a 13-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. A noted leak tweeted an apparent detail list device, which is displayed with narrow bezels on the left side and screen wrinkle and two Thunderbolts ports. The thread also points to an 11th Gen Intel processor in the Surface Pro 8, as well as replaceable SSD bays, which are already in use with the existing Surface Pro X, Surface Laptop 4, and Surface Pro 7 plus. According to the leaked ad, the Surface Pro 8 will cost $ 800.

Then there is the Surface Duo 2, which was also licensed by the FAC A few days ago. The documents confirm there is 4G and 5G connectivity, NFC for contactless payments, Wi-Fi 6 compatibility, and “wireless power transfer”. However, the charging mechanism is likely to own the Surface Pen. It is still classified as a portable handset, although it mentions a “flip and flat” capability, probably referring to the tablet mode of the Duo 2.

From the mere mention of NFC, it seems Microsoft has listened to the complaints people have had with the first one. Duo of surfaces. It should be an exciting event if you’ve been waiting for this second gen attempt. We’ll be covering all announcements from Microsoft’s Surface event on Wednesday, September 22. The fun begins at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET.
